Recently, Taylor’s established The Design School @ Taylor’s College Petaling Jaya which is situated in the same campus as me!
Ohh wait before that, I’m a student of Taylor’s College PJ! I had just finished my Foundation in Communication and currently waiting for my Bachelor Degree program to commence in February 2009.
So yes, back to the topic. The Design School @ Taylor’s.

For now, there are THREE programs currently offered by them. Namely:
- Diploma in Interior Design
- Diploma in Graphic Communication Design
- Diploma in Multimedia Design
So I bet you must be thinking, why choose Taylor’s Design School?

One of the reason is because the teaching style in Taylor’s is tad bit different from other colleges. There are seminars, workshops, guest lectures by local or international lecturers, exhibitions, study visits, traveling and so on. Students will also be given a chance to exhibit their work and seek feedback from people in the campus. There is also this Design Encounter Lecture Series and Design Activity Week which would interest those who are currently interested in enrolling into a design school.
Apart from that, the programs in Taylor’s Design School are moderated by great partner universities in Australia which consists of Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. This would at least set a benchmark standard at par with the overseas institution.
Of course, there are plenty more reasons for you to join The Design School @ Taylor’s. All you need to do is to find your way to Taylor’s College Petaling Jaya campus and seek for any assistance on the spot. It’s at the same building as Leisure Commerce Square / Kurnia Building. I’m sure you will find your way there once you reach Sunway Mentari. (=
