Nokia N97 Launch

Have you read the previous Nokia N97 post?

Last Friday, I attended the Nokia N97 launch event held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

I invited Joshua and Jason along for the event since they’re staying nearby my house and were telling me that they’re interested in having a closer look at the new Nokia N97.

One of the highlights during the event which I assume everyone liked it was the real time Twitter update screen! The attendees can actually tweet live from the event itself and everyone else in the hall will get to see your tweets on the live screen.

However, the main highlight of the event wasn’t that. It was the launch of the Nokia N97 device which everyone was eagerly waiting to play, touch, feel, whatever you name it lol.

There you go, presenting the new Nokia N97 device (=

There was also Guitar Hero session later that night after the launching as part of the games and performance.

Anyway,

Thanks David Lian for the invites and Text100 for making the event successful (=

  5. got the phone for myself a few days ago.. as expected the device is quite good.. but expect some bugs as it has been the first batch of the 97.. qwerty keyboard works like a wonder and the camera is nice.. a good upgrade from the n85 and n95 8gb.. much better than the 5800..
