EVENT: Boys Like Girls Meet & Greet Autograph Session

I’m sure you already know that Boys Like Girls performed at the recent MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia, right? Well few days before the concert, they had a meet & greet autograph session with their fans @ Sony Style, The Curve.

It was also part of promotion/pre-order session of their latest upcoming album Love Drunk which is supposed to be released on 8th September 2009.

Yeah, that’s Dila holding her Boys Like Girls poster waiting for it to be autographed lol.

Anyway I managed to get inside the venue to take some shots without having to buy any merchandise or CDs whatever lol (thanks to Sony Music representative)

So hmmm yeah, some random girl posing for the camera lol.

*(I’ve highlighted the differences above between the main features of A500 & A550 for comparison)

CMOS sensor! No more CCD sensor that my current camera has! +1

Woots 7fps! Can shoot sports photography liao lolol! +1

3″ tilt-angle Xtra Fine LCD! Means no more: “Aiyah, how come just now i see on my camera, the photo looked damn sharp but now transfer to computer the photo blur blur wan?”
*Trust me, i get this kinda situation alot of times ahaha +1

ISO up to 12800! Means the ISO performance should be much much better than! Low light photography without flash, CHUN! ahaha +1

Face detection feature! Means i won’t accidentally focus ‘wrong’ part of the body already +1

Now if you compare Sony Alpha A550 with Nikon D90, A550′s specs is a great challenger to Nikon D90 and it won over D90 in a lot of aspects (EXCEPT for the HD video feature which i’m kinda disappointed Sony didn’t include it). You try compare and see? At least it’s good enough for me la, better than my current camera

It’s a decent upgrade if you’re using an A200/A300/A350 previously (like me), but i don’t think it’s wise for A700 users to buy A500/A550 lor (=

Sony Alpha DSLR-A850

- Full-frame 24.6 megapixel Exmor™ CMOS sensor
- Dual BIONZ processor
- 3″ Xtra Fine LCD screen
- 3 fps
- Bright pentaprism viewfinder with 98% coverage
- ISO up to 6400
- SteadyShot INSIDE™

Basically, the Sony Alpha A850 would be considered as the cheaper alternative to Sony Alpha A900 Full Frame DSLR. Although i wouldn’t have the money to afford this camera, the offer is good thou because it’s cheaper than the A900! What’s more? The A850 is bundled with a 28-75mm f/2.8 as a kit lens! Nice right?
The retail price for Malaysia is not out yet, but it’s definitely cheaper than the A900 but with lesser fps and so on so fourth laa.

I’ve been wearing converse shoes everytime i go out, wear until sien d lol~

Thus, i withdrew some of my previous Nuffnang earnings to buy the Nike Cortez Track Racer shoe yesterday!

It might not be expensive for some of you out there, but any shoe which cost more than RM100 is considered expensive for me LOL! Err, that’s also partly because i’ve not bought a shoe more than RM100 before with my own money eheh.
Yalarr, cheapskate i know shhh! Economic downturn laa okayy, trying to save money wtf.

EVENT: Advertlets Malaysian Bloggers Evening
DATE: 6th August 2009
VENUE: Envie Club Lounge, Changkat Bukit Bintang

It was an evening meant specially for bloggers especially those from Advertlets. But not just that, that night was also to celebrate Josh Lim‘s birthday! So it’s basically a 2-in-1 kinda event and it was at Envie Club Lounge.

They had this awesome electronic dance floor which costs RM250,000 OMG!
