Legion Movie Review (2010)

The Legion Movie Poster

After i’ve watched the trailer for The Legion movie, i was looking forward to watch the full movie and had slightly high expectations as well.

Michael The Legion

The whole movie revolves around ONE particular diner house in an out-of-nowhere-dessert.

The Legion Casts

So what’s the story about? Just think of…

Angels…

Angels The Legion

with a whole load of weapons and machine guns…

Machine Guns

It’s sorta like a mixture of the movie Terminator + 28 Days Later (or any other horror movies). Or probably something like Left4Dead game? The only difference in this movie is that you don’t go around searching for undeads/possessed, they come to you instead. As i said, the whole movie only revolves around the diner house lol.

The Legion Kyle

A lot of decent action scenes. Camera also gets shaky at certain times (probably just to enhance the ‘effect’ lol).

The Legion Audrey Kyle

Okay the actual plot goes like this.. God gets ticked by human doings and decides to send a horde of angels to abolish human being.

As mentioned in the movie “The last time God lost faith in man (human being), He sent the flood. This time, He sent angels.”

The Legion Dessert

However, Michael (arch angel, also the lead general of the God’s army) still has faith with the human being and decides to sacrifice his arch angel bind with God by coming down to Earth to protect the unborn child that can still save humanity.

Arch Angels The Legion

Means, no more heavy sharp angel wings for him haha. Srsly, their angel wings looked really heavy and and it’s sharp! It slices like a blade lolol. If it’s so heavy, how do they fly like that?

Anyway, where’s the unborn child? In the diner house’s waitress stomach lol.

Charlie The Legion

I do think The Legion movie is a sequel to a 2007 movie, Gabriel.

Why? You go watch both movies yourself first =)

Here’s a scene of Gabriel in The Legion movie.

Gabriel The Legion

The granny… You must watch out for her haha!

The Legion Granny

The bottom line is that The Legion isn’t really a good movie, just average probably. I came out of the movie screening feeling slightly disappointed. The film seems sloppy and filled with holes. However, you’ll be treated to graphic scenes of violence, guns, language, plus grotesque images and transformations.

Arch Angels The Legion

Ratings: 5/10

  2. such a mocking to God~
this movie sounds pathetic as its plot suggest…
1st of all, every Christians would know that 2nd coming of Christ was not like that when according to Revelation in the Bible.

2nd … the most unforgivable fact was that – God will never do such dirty job or send angels to do such dirty job.

There is no such thing as angels fight/defending for humans! Our human very own free will … would be sufficient to do the job. Hell or heaven, our choice…

Yet, another laughing stocks movie … geeee…I better go watch Paranormal Activity

  4. actually i watched the movie it does not seem as an attack on God, in fact i felt that the plot reminded me of the parable of the lost or the prodigal son were Gabriel represents the son who stayed behind and Michael was the lost son. In addition the idea of the movie seems as if god was testing the angels just as he tests us.
However the idea portrayed is a bit extreme and blasphemous.
