LEX @ EMPIRE SHOPPING GALLERY

In conjunction with the Empire Shopping Gallery grand launch earlier today, LeX invited me over to their store to have a look. LeX stands for Lifestyle Electronics eXperiential Centre and thus living up to their store name in everything they have (or going to have soon). The one-of-a-kind technology centre is located on the 2nd floor of Empire Shopping Gallery (right above Toys R Us store)

Now why did I say LeX is a technology concept store that is one-of-a-kind?

LEX LEX @ EMPIRE SHOPPING GALLERY

Apple Store

They are somewhat different than any other IT centre available in town (eg: Lowyat Plaza, PJ Digital Mall, etc.)

Tell me, which IT centre have Doof bags for you to rest on!!

Doof Bag

Not only one Doof, but MANY Doof bags around the place! They have this room upstairs as well where you can make it as your chill out place while having discussions and so on.

Doof Beanbag

Think that is awesome already? Look at this…

Cineboxes LEX @ EMPIRE SHOPPING GALLERY

They have three Cineboxes for you to go in and play console games, watch movies or anything related to media centre. Each cineboxes are equipped with Playstation 3, Wii and Xbox 360!!

And when you’re feeling hungry…

Cafe

There’s always Re:LeX cafe serving you with some decent cafe food, they even have chicken rice balls there! Don’t need to go all the way to Malacca lol; food prices ranging from RM4.50 – RM16.90.

LEX Cafe

That’s not all though; the store is still not completed yet. According to LeX marketing person, currently the store has yet to reach 50% completion. Imagine if all these above are only less than 50% store completion, what do you think is gonna be made available in future? From what I heard, there will be a sound gallery section with unidirectional sound music facility and this virtual projection thingy where you can interact with it and it should be pretty fun.

All of the facilities would be made available (100% completion) before LeX store grand launch on the 23rd September 2010. If you’re staying in Subang, do drop by and have a look out! If you’re not staying in Subang, drop by also if you have the time! :)
