NIKE CITY 10K KUALA LUMPUR RUN

Last Sunday, over 8000 runners conquered the streets of Kuala Lumpur in the Nike City 10K KL race. I was one of them and had completed the 10km race route around the city.

It was my first official run and it was an awesome one. I’m already looking forward to the next race! Lol

I bought myself the Sony Alpha a33 DSLT camera last week! Been wanting to buy a new camera for a long time so here’s an upgrade from my old Sony Alpha a300 since 2008. Not the most powerful camera, but certainly much better than my previous one and it’s affordable too!

IPHONE LUCKY DRAW GIVEAWAY BY CHECKITOUT

AN HONEST MISTAKE ALBUM LAUNCH

No other band is as representative of Malaysia’s rising indie scene as An Honest Mistake. Darren Teh, Leonard Chua, Sheryl Goh, Danny New, Kevin ‘Cottie’ Tan, and Kevin Theng are here to prove that sky is the limit for Malaysian music- and AHM are leading the pack. Thus, AHM will be launching their debut album this 22nd October 2010 at Sunway (Multipurpose Hall, CHCKL)

Energizer Night Strike 2011 is coming to you very soon!!

Don’t know what is it about? I’ll fill you in with some deets!

Energizer Malaysia had launched its new look, revamped products and an exciting night paintball tournament during the Energizer Energy Beam launch event last week.

Their flagship consumer battery range is now enhanced with improved performance where their Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries allow the camera to shoot up to 680 shots compared to 600 shots previously! Alongside that, there were also other new battery range being introduced to us. They even gave complimentary batteries for the attendees during the event! I managed to pick up two pairs of the latest Energizer rechargeable batteries, awsum!

Apart from that, Energizer had also introduced the first-of-its-kind among paintball tournaments in Malaysia and possible Asia – Energizer Night Strike

It will be a night paintball tournament where it features 7-minute ‘speedball’ rounds incorporating a ‘capture the flag’ scenario, played completely in the dark with only ultraviolet (UV) lighting and glow-in-the-dark paintballs to complement Energizer’s new Energy Beam image. Imagine playing paintball at night with a visual feast of neon colours, fast-paced action and adrenaline with the glow-in-the-dark pellets, uniforms and props… wahhhh awsum shit i tell you! Get hit by paintball also macam damn syok like that! =p

CommFest is a flagship event by the School of Communication in Taylor’s University that features two major events namely Mass Colympics and Media Carnival under one banner. With the tagline ‘Xpress Freely, Xperience Reality‘, this festival aims to expose students as well as the public, to the field of Communication through expression of Arts and Sports. Both events (Mass Colympics & Media Carnival) were organized separately during the past years, so you can imagine how big would this Taylor’s CommFest be if it’s combined! And even though this is a Taylor’s University event, it doesn’t mean you must be a Taylor’s student to join; in fact it is actually opened to all students from other college/universities to join as well! (provided there are still tickets/spaces left)

Dance competition with 10 finalist teams being judged by Dennis Yin (Elecoldxhot), Michael (Mustang Crew) and also Eric Chan (Famous Crew). Not only that, Mustang Crew and Elecoldxhot will be guest performing on that day as well. RM1800 cash prize up for grabs, mate!
