1st December 2010 marks a very special day for Camp5 Asia’s largest climbing gym. Not only they celebrated their five-year anniversary since opening its doors in year 2005, but they also launched their latest Pro Climber Wall in Camp5 @ One Utama Shopping Centre. At 20.3 meters in height, the intimidating yet exhilarating wall has been recognized as the ‘Tallest Indoor Climbing Wall in Malaysia‘ in the Malaysia Book of Records. It is their hope that with this new wall, Camp5 will one day coach a Malaysian World Cup climber to victory.
On that day itself, some of us were invited to have a walk-through around Camp5 climbing gym (although I’ve climbed at this place before already). We also got to climb the walls for free that day, wasted no chance and took the opportunity to climb as much as we could that day haha. The last time I climbed a tree proper climbing wall was last year, and I got addicted to climbing again sigh.
Now, who wants to go for another climbing session at Camp5? Let’s go go go!
