REV CUP – BATTLE OF THE STATES

The last Rev-Up contest I joined (which i won the weekly cash prize) was two years ago, and this video was my submission entry in 2009. And now, they’re back with the Rev Cup: Battle of the States contest!

RevCup REV CUP BATTLE OF THE STATES

I’m sure you’ve heard it on national radio about the contest promotion and all. Now it’s time for you to act on your feet because the prizes are worth much more than what I had won two years ago!

6 x RM1000 weekly prizes, 2 x RM5000 grand prizes, 8 x RM3000 category awards = how could you afford to miss out on all these cold hard cash?! Apart from that, there will be a State Prize where the winning state will have a massive party thrown to celebrate in their honour of winning the battle!

Ready for the details?

Contest REV CUP BATTLE OF THE STATES

Last week’s theme was Urban Surfing, so all you need to do to find out this week’s theme is to LIKE their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ReviveIsotonic?sk=app_11007063052). Take a picture/video of yourself according to the theme and the judges will award you with points based on your creativity. The more points you gain, the bigger chances you have in winning those cold hard cash!

Videos and pictures should be submitted to the Rev Cup – Battle of the States Facebook application page: (http://apps.facebook.com/revivecup). I’ll be submitting my entry for the Rev Cup too, join me? You can make your own videos as well and win all the awesome cash prizes! Feel free to share with me your entries as well if you’ve done any videos, if it’s good I’ll share it out on my Twitter and Facebook too icon smile REV CUP BATTLE OF THE STATES

In the meantime, here’s a pretty interesting entry by Rachel Beh:

And hey, check out Jin from Hitz.FM’s video as well:

According to Jin, if the video above wins then it is all for charity (all of the RM5000!); now vote for the video!

Take these as an example for your entry and outdo all the video entries submitted alright! Everyone has a chance to win the prizes! AND besides that, if your submitted photo is one of the weekly winning picture, you stand a chance to have your picture being printed on the Revive Isotonic drinks’ can / bottle label! Imagine having yourself doing extraordinary Rev-Up stunt, printed on a Revive bottle or aluminium can. Now, how cool is that?! =p

p/s: did u know that Revive Isotonic drink had changed their brand packaging and logo? what do you think of it?

———— (UPDATE: 26 MAY 2011) ————

Hello, I am back! As you know that the Rev Cup contest is approaching the ending soon, thus i took the opportunity to create a video just for fun and submit it as my contest entry!

The theme is ‘Big Small’ and I’m supposed to portray BIG + SMALL together. Had a tough time figuring out what to do for a big small themed video, thus I resorted to this idea. (Haters of Rebecca Black, I’d advise you not to watch it haha)

Since the contest is ending soon, i suggest you should take this opportunity to enter as many contest entry as possible; submit in your photos / videos on Revive’s Facebook page (the link was given above somewhere) and you’d stand a chance to win a part of the RM35,000 cash prize! There will be weekly cash prizes (RM1000) for six weeks as well as the grand prize worth RM5000! Best video gets RM5000 too! Not forgetting there’ll also be various category awards as mentioned above.

So yeah, hurry up and submit your entries now!

Hennessy Artistry is one of the best music events featuring performers from local to regional or even international standards. The first Hennessy Artistry KL in 2011 was held @ Opera Sunway and the performers were Spinderella, Vandalism and Kyoto Protocol. The glitz and glamour can be seen from the impressive display of interactive showcase at the entrance. Guests who have registered on Hennessy Artistry Facebook were given a personalized RFID tag according to your own Facebook profile just so that they could use it within the event venue for tagging and content purposes. There were also games ala Fruit Ninja (Hennessy style), music mixing on an interactive table kinda thing, greenscreen photo taking booth and many other interesting spots within the venue for guests to hang out.

Have you seen this video?

If you haven’t, nevermind can watch it now if you want to lol. It was regarding the last Hennessy Artistry trip to Penang along with few other chosen bloggers + media.

Many had asked me this question, “why go until Penang for Hennessy Artistry? KL also got maa” I’d tell them that just because Hennessy Malaysia is awesome and heck, they treat their bloggers + media too damn well! They conform to our needs and requests whenever possible! (free food, after-party massage, etc…) =p

Anyway here are some pictures of Hennessy Artistry Penang… I was taking video the whole night, thus no pictures from me at all. Most pictures below were taken from Hennessy Malaysia FacebookVernonchan.com Facebook & Mynjayz Facebook (thankyou!).

THE BEATLES UNPLUGGED

The Beatles Unplugged THE BEATLES UNPLUGGED

Project FLiP (For Love in People) was conceptualized by  a group of your average run of the mill Malaysians looking to prepare themselves or be part of the progression of our nation. Through this creative avenue, we aim to devise and execute unique fund raising event ideas that go against the norms of a society known for playing it safe. By doing so, we hope to bring about a sense of realization, appreciation and inspire those more privileged to contribute and help improve the general welfare for those less fortunate than them.

Established in 2010, Project FLiP began in Melbourne Australia, by a group of friends working together outside of their daily 9 to 5 routine  to carry out charity events to aid and assist natural disaster funds all over the world. What began as an outlet for individuals to display  their skill sets outside the scope of their everyday job, quickly transformed into a committed passion for the love in people as Project FliP. In 2010 Project FLiP successfully raised RM 30,000 through three events.

This year, Project FLiP  is reigniting their passion for the love in people by organizing yet another charity event together with Icepeak Solutions, Rootz KL and Three Sixty Sdn Bhd  – The Beatles Unplugged.

The event dated for Saturday May 14, will be happening at Lot 10, Rootz KL. The event will comprise of local Malaysian bands  performing their renditions of Beatles songs as well as playing their best hits. Headliners for the night Bittersweet and Rezza Salleh as well as recent ‘Talent Experiment’ winners Mama Sons, formerly known as Project Lol-e, Ask me Again, Darren Ashley Band and Decimal will be gracing this event.

Tickets will be RM 20 per entry and RM 250 per table. All proceeds and profit made from this event will be donated to the Japanese Relief Fund through Red Crescent Malaysia. To ensure complete transparency, the budget and overall profit will be placed on the blog at http://www.forloveinpeople.blogspot.com/
