Nokia Malaysia organized an ‘intimate’ session with the Nokia bloggers last Friday to share and hands-on the upcoming Nokia E6 as well as Nokia X7.

Nokia has announced that the Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7 is launched to cater the needs of business people as well as entertainment enthusiasts respectively. Both Nokia E6 and Nokia X7 will be the first smartphones to be featuring the latest Symbian Anna (which performs much faster than the older Symbian versions! tested and proven lol)

Nokia E6
The Nokia E6 is the latest in Nokia’s long line of E series business phones. The Nokia E6 is the first Nokia phone to incorporate the VGA resolution and also the first Nokia candybar phone to incorporate a touch screen with QWERTY keypad. Its 8-megapixel camera has an auto focus sensor capable of capturing video in HD as well. Adding on with the new Symbian^3 update (Symbian Anna) and you’ll be seeing the Nokia E6 as a classy messaging and business phone.
(RRP: RM1,155)

Nokia X7
Whereas the new Nokia X7, it is a smartphone for active users with a 4-inch touch screen, built-in 8-megapixel camera with support of HD video recording. The device is manufactured as a monobloc and placed in stainless steel.
For those who owns a Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6 and other supporting devices, there will be a new software update (to be able to upgrade to Symbian Anna) in the coming months.

ARE YOU A FAN OF ANGRY BIRDS GAME?

Angry Birds (by Rovio) is a puzzle video game released in December 2009 which was primarily inspired by a sketch of stylized wingless birds. The game has been made available for Nokia devices since October 2010 and this year they have created the ‘Angry Birds Free with Magic’, the first major game to take advantage of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.
Anyway the main point is… There will be an event called the ‘Angry Birds Playground’ – an initiative by Nokia to mobilize Malaysian youth (or adults) to come together and be part of something huge with no strings attached and no fine print. The key attraction is that it requires a collective effort to be made by all participants in setting the Guinness World Record for ‘Most People in a Mobile Phone Relay‘.
Participation Rules are kept simple – you have to register online, turn up at the event on that day and play Angry Birds game on any mobile devices they wish to use. There will be Nokia devices being displayed at the event, thus you can use their phone to participate!
Nokia has always been about connecting people and this event gives Nokia an opportunity to do just that in a fun manner with a healthy dose of competition.
The Angry Birds Playground will take place on the 11 June 2011 (10am-9pm) @ Low Yat Plaza.
