MTV World Stage Malaysia 2011 rocked BIG time! This happening event was the talk of the town and finally it was held in the beautiful city of digital lights @ i-City Shah Alam.

The two-hour event filled with exhilarating line-ups such as performances by our very own but well-known local band, Pop Shuvit, the hot all-boy Korean band Beast, alternative rock band Neon Trees and of course, well-known American band Thirty Seconds To Mars. It was definitely impossible to feel bored even for a second! The energy brought by the hosts (VJ Holly and Utt) and performers made the atmosphere livelier and more exciting!

The band rocked the stage with songs from their new album, Cherry Blossom Love Affair.

Besides that, the band continued keeping the crowd on fire by performing a few other songs with Man Bai, Daly from Ahli Fiqir, Daniel Tanapon Supwattana and Jamir from Slapshock.

K-pop sensation, Beast got the crowd going on with their awesome dance skills.

Although it is said that there may be a language barrier, I could still hear fans humming along the lyrics of their songs! That’s how supportive we are.

With their front man, Tyler Glenn – Neon Trees made their live stage debut in this event.

One thing to be pointed out was their popular single “Animal”, often played by local radio stations, was sang along by most of everyone in the crowd.

The band performed favourites such as This Is War, King and Queens and also, Closer To The Edge.

I definitely had a great time being able to attend this event with my friends.

HP HIT PRINT ROADSHOW @ KLMU

The HP Hit Print Roadshow is here (in fact, it’s already ongoing at different campuses in Malaysia)

So last week I went for the HP Hit Print roadshow at KLMU. Happening at Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College, this event received a high response by many students there. Speaking from a student’s perspective such as myself, this roadshow has benefited me in many ways from being hassle-free with printing my work and assignments as well as the convenience of being away from the printer during the printing process. This roadshow reveals to the crowd of how efficient and time-saving this technology is able to offer.

Besides that, the promoters did a wonderful job assisting the students and also in answering their questions. Many students find that the new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage system does not only let them enjoy extreme low-cost printing, it also maintains excellent printing quality! Now, we all know as students, we often opt for cost-saving usage, but producing high quality assignments is definitely a plus point!

During the roadshow, students enjoyed many exciting line-ups such as being able to stand a chance to buy a HP Printer at only RM1 (yes, RM1, that was NOT a typo!). Furthermore, students were encouraged to participate in the photo contest on HP Facebook page – by doing so, all participants are entitled chances to win HP Printers, iPads and also smartphones!
