Last Friday, Advertlets organized a bloggers trip along with media from FlyFM which was hosted by Alamanda Shopping Centre, Putrajaya. It was a fun filled day touring around Putrajaya with activities such as rock climbing, waterski-ing, wakeboarding, shopping and many more!

We started off the day by having breakfast at Old Town White Coffee @ Alamanda Putrajaya.

Old Town White Coffee has come out with a new membership card system as well! If you drop by any Old Town outlets, do ask from them if you’re interested to get it!

We received our first batch of goodie bags during breakfast as well! And another batch during dinner! Thank you sponsors!

After breakfast, we went for a short walk around Alamanda Putrajaya Shopping Centre. The whole trip was basically paid for (except shopping), i didn’t even took out my wallet throughout the day!

And guess what, i regretted for not spending money that day. Why? Because Quiksilver @ Alamanda Putrajaya was having 30% discount sales for all items as well as 70% discount for certain items that day specially for us! And i thought that applies to stores in KL as well, manatau it’s only in Alamanda outlet! Damn sad now have to pay extra in KL outlets

Well after shopping, we headed off to Putrajaya Challenge Park at Precinct 5 for a rock climbing session at Putra Climb!

It wasn’t my first time, but i’d say that Putra Climb’s wall seems to be harder than Camp 5 @ 1 Utama! Well expected laa, since it’s the largest indoor climbing gym in Asia lol.

After a tiring rock climbing session, we got to rest and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch at Pullman Lakeside Putrajaya Hotel.

Right after the tour, we headed on to Putrajaya Watersport Centre for waterski and wakeboarding session

The weather didn’t like us, the sky turned dark when we arrived the place and it rained shortly after that. Thus not all managed to try out waterski activity, including myself lol.

As it was raining and all, we were forced to stop waterski-ing and head back to Alamanda Putrajaya Shopping Centre for a light dinner.

After dinner, we went to GSC Alamanda to watch Avatar movie!

The movie was damn awesome! Too bad we watched the normal screening instead of the 3D version, otherwise it would be DOUBLE the awesomeness man!

And this was our last group photo of the day at Putrajaya along with all the other bloggers and FlyFM media.

I’m sure we had lots of fun! Can you FEEL it by looking at the pictures?? Hahaha!

The movie was released long ago, i’m sure most of you had already downloaded and watched it but i’ll still write my review on it.

What a dumb movie…

But i have to admit! The movie was very entertaining and funny… in a lame way!! Was basically LOL-ing throughout the whole movie! And if you like humour, it’s a movie that is fun for all ages!

In this movie, there were only four non-zombie humans seem to be left in Zombieland.

How about the others? Turned into zombies lor…

Oh on a short note, Emma Stone seems quite hot in the movie heh!

Probably because she’s the only girl in the story (aside from her sister).

As quoted by Nicholas Cheng: “the movie cleverly plays off her (Emma Stone) hotness like “What are the odds, everyones dead and I come across a really hot girl. Time for some love making” Suck on that I Am Legend!”

And i think Eisenberg played a good role in the movie too (with his useful ‘list of rules’ haha).

Both Stone and Eisenberg are talented young performers in movies and they hit just the right notes here.

The film people managed to produce something creative yet funny and joyful for a horror genre, which i think it is a good move! Seeing that most of the parody movies i’ve watched are either crappy or not up to standard, Zombieland definitely made a horror zombie parody movie excellently funny (though i still think it’s dumb, but in an enjoyable way lol).

Not forgetting the other casts as well, they’ve done a good job to make this movie an entertaining one… Some very funny moments, a cute love story, likable characters, Bill Murray as Bill Murray; I enjoyed watching this movie!

EVENT: Advertlets Malaysian Bloggers Evening

It was an evening meant specially for bloggers especially those from Advertlets. But not just that, that night was also to celebrate Josh Lim’s birthday! So it’s basically a 2-in-1 kinda event and it was at Envie Club Lounge.

They had this awesome electronic dance floor which costs RM250,000 OMG!

Last Tuesday night, Advertlets held The Proposal movie screening at GSC Tropicana City Mall. Got tickets from Missycheerio (thankyou!)

Then on Wednesday, went for Samanthacje’s birthday lunch at Pasta Zanmai, Mid Valley.

After lunch, went to watch Public Enemies.

Verdict? Don’t watch it if you don’t like history, old fashioned movies (especially when you’re a guy that doesn’t appreciate the aww-ness of Johnny Depp, Channing Tatum & Christian Bale) I slept halfway thru and woke up and slept back and woke up don’t know how many times already lol! Lotsa gun shots going on, shitass boring, no bits of humour at all, etc etc…
